State Street Brass Quintet's melodies filled the air with such beautiful music. They are professional and very polite. Thank you SSBQ, for playing at my wedding!

ABOUT OUR QUINTET

Based in Chicago, State Street Brass provides vivid performances of the highest quality. With more than 45 years of combined performing experience, State Street Brass Quintet is a full-throttle blast of everything Chicago's music scene has to offer. Although each member of the quintet is sought after as individual freelancers, State Street formed in 2007 when five colleagues and friends realized their shared passion for chamber music. Since that time State Street has been actively performing recitals, children's concerts, weddings, and church services. In 2010, SSBQ appeared in recital at the Merit School of Music, Fremd High School Fine Arts Week, and Concordia University of River Forest. Additional recent appearances have included performances at Christ Church of Oak Brook, Chicago's Christkindlemarket, Irving Park United Methodist Church, Westminster Place of Evanston, and Lincoln Park High School in Chicago. Thank you for visiting our website and we hope to see you at one of our upcoming performances.
